ACRYLIC PAINTING

Acrylic paint is plastic based. There are different levels of acrylic based on thickness. I prefer to use thinner paint to create more of an even layering process, however, I do add different gels to create different effects and styles.

OIL PAINTING

Oil paint is my favorite medium as it takes a long time to dry, so blending is wonderful. With oil, I get more of a realistic look. Oils are very thick and the paint rises off of the canvas, so texture is evident.

WATER COLOR PAINTING

Water colors are great for experimenting with colors and blending them together. Lines are not as precise as other painting styles, but free forming. I prefer to create works that look either realistic, or real but abstract color. I love to use different color schemes such as analogous, monochromatic, cool colors, warm colors, etc.

PENCIL DRAWING

Pencil was my first medium to master. I have varying hardness and softness of graphite to really up the contrast. Please note that my style is realistic and not cartoon, anime, or abstract.

EPOXY

Epoxy is a fun medium that flows like fluid and creates galaxy or ocean like abstract pieces. Colors and textures vary. A glitter addition is also an option!

COLORED PENCIL DRAWING

Colored pencil drawings are all done using Prisma Colored pencils. These are alcohol based, blend really well, and layer beautifully to create a realistic look. You also have the option to choose white, gray, or black paper or reeves paper.
